A course in miracles, as a theological text, has some points in common with Christianity, but some points of disagreement. In Common:

    1. The goal of loving God above all else, and loving your neighbour as yourself.

    2. Emphasis on forgiveness as the key that makes loving your neighbour possible.

    3. Belief in the resurrection and perfection of Jesus.

    Disagreement:

    1. In ACIM, God did not create the physical world, instead it was created as a defense against God.

    2. Everything that Jesus is, is obtainable by everyone.

    3. We are not humans with a spirit soul, instead we are spirit deluded into believing we are human.
