Kenneth Wapnick edited the material of A Course in Miracles. I believe he did a very good job. The most important part of editing books like ACIM, that claim divine authority, is that any material that might be an error, or could be easily misunderstood, must be removed. You cannot prevent misunderstandings altogether. Those who are determined to hurt themselves, will find an excuse to do so. Nevertheless, I believe Mr Wapnick was the right man for the the editing job. His continual response to people making wild claims about ACIM teachings was to say, be kind and be normal. Like a doctor, Mr Wapnick was determined that ACIM would do no harm.
